Maine Propane Prices Has Anyone Ever Converted From Oil To Propane??

Has anyone ever converted from oil to propane?? - maine propane prices

I just discovered that I can convert oil@4.71 / Propane@2.99 gal / gal for about $ 1500.00. Does it make sense in the long run? I live in Maine and winters are cold Dang!
Stoves and wood pellets (to high demand, which is already there) are not an option for me .....
Thank you!

Propane is not cheap, but seems less expensive than oil in your case. It is very clean combustion. I think propane gas logs to place the cold front in the morning and I go through about 100 gallons of water per season. It complements my heat pump for whenever I want it really hot. My gas logs are actually a little heat. However, I am inclined to believe that you are using more than 100 gallons per season. I like it better than propane, of course, because it is not on the air pressure, such as natural gas fed power. He built his own pressure, but added more air, such as natural gas, when demand increases. This little-known habit of the pressure on the line is a yellow flame lighter than usual in the burners, which heat is generated by inefficient. In fact ... A blue flame is hotter than yellow flame. That said ... I love the heat, steady burning blue flame propane. Just to add a little snack for you ... I own my car. I think propane in the summer, the average price per gallon minus 50th The tanks are not as expensive as you might think. You can investigateOptions to save more money to your door. Good luck in your change.
